Increasing Muscle Strength, Endurance and Symmetry

Strong, symmetrical muscles which function and perform well for an extended period of time will be able to support the horse's body and maintain a healthy posture.  The risk of injury will be reduced as the body is able to evenly support itself.  If there was asymmetry found in the body, the horse would be more susceptible to injury due to there being an increase in areas of weakness.

Adequate cardiovascular fitness also plays an important role in Equine Prehabilitation because if a muscle was to become fatigued, it is likely that an injury would occur.
